About the Chain of Parks

LeMoyne’s Chain of Parks Art Festival takes place in the historic parks along
Park Avenue in downtown Tallahassee, Florida.
Festival Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 5pm, the 3rd weekend of April
each year. Free Admission - Rain or Shine.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts is pleased to present the 12th Annual Chain of Parks Art Festival. This annual two-day event draws tens of thousands of people to Tallahassee’s downtown Chain of Parks from around the Big Bend/Southeast region to see 100+ artists who have traveled from all over the country to display their original works of fine art for sale and be judged by a juried panel in their media category.  Visitors stroll through beautiful downtown Tallahassee parks, under the stately live oaks, and enjoy our beautiful city in the height of Spring’s grandeur. The newly updated layout for the festival will include art education components for the kids, ramped up live entertainment with a variety of musical acts as well as local theater crews performing on the stage and around the parks, a host of local restaurants and caterers to provide their fares - all adding up to complete the perfect outdoor Fine Art affair.  This event is for the entire family, lovers of art and beyond.

ART CATEGORIES & AWARDS
Artists from around the country apply for entry with an independent panel of judge’s selecting the more than 100 artists to participate in the show, competing for $10,000 in cash prizes. With a wide variety of outstanding artists and original works of art, categories include Drawing & Graphics, Fine Crafts, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Photography & Digital Art, Sculpture, and Painting. The artists are competing for weighted category awards totaling up to $10,000 including Best of Show for $2,000 and Award of Distinction for $1,000.
